    Hi All,

Some cracking deals on Amazon for whiskey and trying work out if its anyway possible to get them delivered to Dublin? Amazon website states no and I know An Post don't handle liquids, was wondering if Parcel Motel was an option?

Anyone else have any suggestions / opinions?

    Thanks

Mod: <SNIP>. It’s on the prohibited article list.
Used them for great deal on whiskey before Christmas.

There are few Spanish stores shipping to Ireland. I am not going to link, but one has even refunded customers when the parcel was stopped by customs.

There is always a risk, but a friend of mine does order regularly and only one parcel was stopped.

They order 12 bottles at a time (usually add few for friends to save on shipping).

I've had some refused at customs and sent back to sender but most make it through to my parcel motel. Amazon refund you if they receive the package back. Just report non delivery under orders on your account. I actually got a 5 pound voucher once for my "troubles" :)

    It's a risk OP.

Even if you use parcel motel to a UK address Irish customs check. I know this for a fact. Also, afaik parcel motel don't deliver alcohol.

I got hit with customs charges when getting 20 bottles of port sent from M&S U.K. to parcel motel. It ended up costing me more than if I had just bought locally.

You might be able to chance your arm if it’s only 1 bottle though
