    Hi all

With relation to building at the back less than 40sq m and the planning exemption I have noticed that it can be no more than 2m from the boundary wall for an above ground floor extenstion.

Does this mean a double height extension? Is it applicable to bungalow ground floor?

    Specific term

"any extension above ground floor level is at least 2m
    from any boundary"

Does this only applies if building more than one floor ?

I would be building a bungalow ground floor extension for instance

Found answer elsewhere. It is above ground floor as in a double height.

First floor element can’t be within 2m of the boundary.
Assuming your only doing single storey on a bungalow.

That is correct. I am only doing single story on a bungalow.
