Warranty query

We got blinds fitted in a new build house. When the quote was done we specifically mentioned that only one of the blinds should be fitted to the windows directly (Back door) . And the remaining to be fitted to the walls. The reason for this is that the windows have a 20 year warranty on them. This was mentioned to the sales person and to the guy fitting. Some of them were fitted to the window frames and now we are wondering where we might stand should any issues arise down the road with the windows.

Obviously being a new build, we don't foresee any issues with the windows right away but given they have now been fitted to the windows, would this have any bearing to the windows or could this void the warranty in anyway?

Contact has been made to the companies involved and we are awaiting replies but I'm just wondering what peoples opinions might be if anybody has come across similar.
