Servicing Oil boiler?

I recently bought a house and it has a firebird oil boiler, I'd like to get it serviced as I will eventually be letting the house. Do I need to get any certificate of service or safety due it being rented out? I know a guy who can service it but he'd be a jack of all trades type and used to work in a factory where these are made before so knows his stuff. Obviously if it was a Gas Boiler I'd need an RGI to do it, but when it is Kerosene I'm not sure.

see the key posts at the top of this forum and click on oil boiler servicing

you will see it is far from a handy man job

boiler has to be set up properly using gauges and a flugas analyser

when complete you should get a printout of the emissions
