    Hi all,
Just asking if anybody has any insight into QQI approved course.
    6S3153 Life and Workplace Coaching

My background: have a degree and experience in teaching/training. Been a carer for a family member for the past 2 years so I'm out of touch.

I'm just trying to boost my skills and look for a course that might assist me in getting back into the swing of things.

    So my questions:
    1. Is the course worth the expense?

    2. The whole life-coach area seems to be a bit loose, so what are the job prospects in coaching afterwards?
    3. Is the qualification useful in terms of non-coaching employment prospects i.e. do employers recognize it's value?

    4. Is there an alternative course that might be more useful? I'm casting a wide net here in terms of boosting my employability so perhaps coaching is not the way to go? (I did a Train the Trainer course a few years ago and thought it was great.)

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.
