Sky Q mini problems

hi can anyone give me a bit of advise.
i have a sky Q box and one sky mini, i also have a sky booster. i am having problems with the mini losing connection in the basement.

until recently my router did not send any signal to the basement, simply too far away with big thick concrete walls. so i got a netgear orbi mesh network.
this works a treat and i have full internet access all around the house an in the basement.
i have imagine broadband and this requires me to set up the netgear orbi mesh network as an access point. (this has something to do with ip addresses but i'm not tech savy enough to fully understand this).
anyway the network works fine and no problem with the sky mini upstairs or around the house except when i go to the basement here it is losing connection the the network, other devises do not.
the only difference with upstairs is it is now out of reach of the sky booster, and moving the booster doesn't work.

having looked on line i am getting a lot of contradictory advise and i am slow to go messing with the advance settings for as i mentioned i am not that tech savy .
having looked up stuff on line i am considering changing the channel on the 5ghz t0 44 ( if that makes sense), is this a good idea or could i do more harm than good.
