Unable to move home phone and broadband from EIR

    Dear Eir

    I transferred my home phone and broadband from Sky to Eir last January (2018).

    Iv learned that since switching EIR have been providing my telephone calls over the internet instead of the normal landline - something called VOIP. Because of this I am unable to switch service provider.

    I don't understand what is going on but I need this fixed ASAP so that I can switch service providers if I so wish.

    Hoping for a speedy resolution
