Does anyone know where I could buy a magnaclean filter that fits on inch copper pipe?

Also out of curiosity why don't we use the same size fittings as the UK? Would it not make plumbing parts cheaper?

Heat Merchants, Chadwicks, Ebay and many other online shops.

It's the 28mm you should be asking for. It will fit perfectly on your 1 inch pipes.

Thanks for that, so does that mean if I can get it cheaper from the Uk, It will suit Irish sizes?

Or do I need to change the olives?

I bought mine at Chadwicks. It said 28mm on the box and it worked perfectly with 1 inch pipe.

I contacted the manufacturer Adey. I asked were the olives the only difference and received the below:

No we have the olive and nuts changed, the body of the valve is oversized and then we source local Irish olives and pair them with custom 1” nuts to our valve , all 2xp filters that come into Ireland North or south are dual fitting with imperial and metric nuts and olives included at no extra cost.

Thought it was worth posting for future reference.
