Have raised this using myenquiries on the Revenue site and did try ring but was told due to volumes of calls to ring back later. Waiting also from callback from new employer who started this to begin with! Can anyone help me with 4 quick queries -

1. I'm changing jobs later this month - I have added the new employer on myaccount with the relevant start date. Understand I can't cease my current employer til I get the final salary payments from them? Then I just cease them using my final work day?

2. New employer told me to allocate them some of your tax allowances - does that happen automatically?

3. They've asked that I request a "tax certificate detailing your allowances" be sent to them - how can I do that?

4. Finally, a company I did some work for years ago appeared as an employer on myaccount with a start date of January this year. I've not been paid by them for years and just ceased them. That sound ok?
