    Firefox maxing out Ram
While watching live streaming on RTE Player Task Manager shows Ram usage increasing till the browser locks up. This doesn't occur while watching Box sets on Player. Same with Opera which at least has the decency to show a box saying "Running out of memory". What's happening here and are there any settings in Firefox I can adjust ?
OS W7. 4 Gb RAM, Page File System Managed.

    62.02: 200MB
    65.0: 185MB

As its two browsers my guess would be your older machine can't hardware decode the stream and thus is doing everything on the CPU and can't keep up. With Widevine etc on the new player its hard to tell what precisely they're using but pre-encoded content could well differ to real time.

Watch a box set and see what your CPU usage for the process is like.
