    Punchestown 1:45

This tip has been brewing for a while. Bay of Freedom really enjoyed the 2 runs over banks at Cheltenham and just didn't stay. He travelled really well in those races and they were far stronger than this one. We should have something to shout for turning for home here. This race can’t be as quick as the Cheltenham ones, which turned into a sprint. 40/1 looks massive for a 16/1 chance

    2 Points EW 40/1 365 ¼ place 40/1 1/5th hills/vc

He doesn’t have a hope of beating the first 2 in the market seen as they had him well beaten last time and are actually better off at the weights with him today.
Unless 1 of the favs fall his best hope is 3rd.

On ballycasey myself, hopefully ridden prominently after his good first run over the cross country circuit at Cheltenham where he was held up and has been back there schooling since.

Went with Ballycasey, saw a video of him schooling over the banks at Cheltenham, seemed to be in fine fettle and enjoying it.

I’d love Josies to get a Chektenham festival win in that race, i recall the year he was peak and in super form but missed the festival injured. Tiger Roll i’d take on as i would with any national winner after they have won that race in their careers, takes it out on them big time.

I went with take revenge, 2nd to top horse last time and another decent one in 3rd, if the jp horse continues to see money he will go close, I was worried they might give him an easy race and try get a handicap mark, money says otherwise now.
Discordantly will be bang there as well, weak at the finish maybe ?

Cheers, it was a tough race to try work out, didn’t fancy lethal steps at all Over the trip but he ran really well, he could be my Fred winter horse on that.

Going to chance Calvary Master in the last, the battle of midway form took a knock with castle Oliver’s run and the stable had the winner of the race dinnys Lacey placed in which has seen cash. Leaves the fav to beat but hopefully the jockey booking indicates a decent run is expected today

Andrew is a pocket whinger. Comes on every other week frothing about some other horse/jockey/trainer/owner.

I only give out when a horse drifts and the jockey doesn’t try. It’s disgusting

Yeah, I usually throw away the slip when a horse I’ve backed drifts before the off.

Although I have learnt my lesson by waiting until 30 seconds before the race starts to put my bet down

He got a bad fall in one around 2003ish and Nicholls told him to stop riding in them. I think?
