Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

This is most definitely not the movie you might reasonably have expected from the title!

While both killings are part of the movie, they play second fiddle to the story of a man who has sacrified everything for what he believes is in service of the greater good.

Really took me by surprise, Sam Elliot delivers an absolutely superb performance, which is pretty much what the movie hangs on, and a decent turn from Aidan Turner as the younger, Hitler-slaying, self.

Yes, it's more than a bit bizarre to have a movie where the assassination of Hitler and killing of Bigfoot - by the main character - are mere sidenotes in a slow-burn character study....

But it worked for me, I can see why it wouldn't for others, but it's genuinely a good movie and not the b-movie schlock-fest the title implies.

Is it me or is Sam Elliott everywhere now, since The Ranch? That’s fine by me!

Whoever came up with the movie title needs to be the third victim of 'the man'. Excellent cast, but I'd normally not give it a second glance considering the title. Have seen it online, will give a look.

A fine film indeed. And most surprising of all. A fine love story.

The suitcase was a bit of a
    McGuffin
    though. And what
fell out of his shoe at the end? The engagement ring?

Awesome in A Star is Born, he is on a resurgence

Co-Stars Aidan Turner and Caitlin Fitzgerald are now dating

Caitlin and Aidan looked to be the same height but when I looked up their heights it has her as 5'8" and him as 6'

for example in this pic they are both wearing similar height wise shoes

    Very enjoyable. Some magical shots.

Apparently Jean Claude Van Damme was originally cast for the Bigfoot role, but he wasn’t happy with the costume, and although he shot two days of film he was never credited

I love watching right up to the Bigfoot part, then I turn down the sound and look away until it's over - just expecting it to be gross. Apart from what I have not watched, I highly recommend this special film. It has done extremely weĺl on iTunes and word about it is steadily spreading.

Aidan Turner. Great actor. Big fan of all his work.
