Hi, first time poster here. In a bit of a dilemma regarding Ryanair booking..

This evening I booked a trip via the ryanair site. Picked the flights and entered in the passenger names correctly. Then it was time to pay. I entered in my card details and clicked to proceed with payment. On the screen it said "flight booked" with a green tick. But this only lasted on the screen for a couple of moments. At the top right hand of the page it still said the total price of the fare and a "check out" button for this fair....

The problem is, I have not received any email yet from Ryanair! Did not get a reference or reservation number. When I log in to my myRyanair account, it says there are no upcoming trips! So did I successfully book or not? I would assume that when you enter in card details and click to proceed with a message simply saying "flight booked" then that means payment will be taken (?!l)

I have used ryanair before in the past and no issues, this is so odd and Im really worried! I dont want to end double booking! Any advice please 🙂

Have you check your online banking?

Hi, yes I've checked my account and no money taken so far...but could this not be a pending payment?

I wouldn’t say you booked anything, something went wrong

Ring your bank they can confirm if anything has gone through

Use Ryanair online chat facility to contact them, they are actually quite helpful

Thanks for the replies everyone. Its been a while since I used Ryanair to book a trip. By god they don't let you proceed to the next step of booking without reminding you you have not picked a seat (€€). But they did not communicate very well to me if I had actually booked the trip at all 🀔

I had this exact thing happen to me last year. I contacted them via a phone line. They were a bit gruff, but confirmed that no booking was on the system. He said that if there is nothing showing in your trips then nothing has processed.

I had the exact same problem last week. The booking didn't go through and I wasn't charged. You'll need to book it again.

Same thing happened to me yesterday evening.

I received no email and (so far) nothing taken from my bank. As it's not too urgent, I'm just going to keep checking for the next few days before booking again.

    Hi,

Not sure if this has come up before, apologies if I am repeating.

Just got a (supposed) message from 'Ryanair' asking me to confirm

    >>1st Notification of a change in departure/arrival time of your flight for xxxxx, (the correct one)<<

    However the flights weren't changed.....

Message was from - info@change.ryanair.com and said 'do not reply' but had a click through to confirm -

    https://schdchng.ryanair.com//Accept?i=3D7726S1HWTM00141604-FR1631L2I900M=
    RSCIA025-FR1630P2I710CIAMRS8355C4WG6BC&lg=3Den

    Flight number is legit.....

    What do people think

Update - it is legit, checked via live chat. I had booked priority and bag after I had reserved and the time had been changed by 20 minutes on the confirmation, I hadn't noticed. It was a week later when I received the 'change of flight time' email......not so joined up....

Their website seems very iffy at the moment. Different behaviours on different browsers (fields not being filled in, buttons not responsive), but I can't proceed with a booking - though I notice the prices are increasing...

    Anybody else experiencing similar?
