If u were putting in a electric gate which wud b3 best steel gate or UPVC gate.
I think UPVC gate looks better and more modern. But I heard bad stories about wind breaks up gate and hinges are broken allot with UPVC gate. Wind flows through a steel gate better. Steel gate doesnt break as easy, that's what someone told me. UPVC gates , has anyone had experience of these type of gates. And also price is there difference. Which wud be the dearest which wud be the cheapest.

I have had heard allot of bad stories about wooden gates in terms of maintenance. So any info on UPVC gate would be welcome.

Wouldnt put a second thought to it.

UPVC would be cheaper I'd say, But by no means the same quality!

Cant beat box iron for strength and quality, and definitely galvanize it.

Galvanised frame with pvc in it. No painting or scraping it ever!
