You have to buy the clamps they would only be isofix ready.

Christ how hard can it be to ask a question?????

What I meant to ask does an 08 on cmax come with isofix?
I know the focus hatch back can be by buying an adaptor bar from ford can the cmax be adapted too?

    Many thanks Roy

Ford guide I found suggested cars from '07 had them as standard but my Focus ('07) didn't come with it, had to install myself. Really easy to do though, cost about €20 or €30 on Amazon and took 10 minutes.

If you can't find them they won't be there, they're pretty obvious so hard to miss.

I’d be shocked if a CMAX didn’t have them standard, being an MPV.

Edit, I’m shocked. It’s not standard, and it looks like you have to go at the seats with a Stanley knife to add them if they weren’t optioned.

    My 10 has isofix
Sons early 07 does not even have the blanks in the boot for adding it and daughter in law's 08 cmax has no blanks either.
Good news is that the isofix base is also able to be secured with a seat belt through base

Should I be shocked at the LC5 I bought that had no hitch?

The isofux point would have cost Ford pennies to include. It’s typical of a Ford to make this an optional extra.

Cars don’t come from factory with hitches, but if you told me your LC5 was built in such a way that you couldn’t fit a towbar, that would be similar IMO.
