Can anybody tell me the name of the plant that grows along a rivers edge?
    Bit vague I know!
I've been told it provides pollen for bees during the end of July and well into August.
    Thanks

Himalayan balsam? Very pretty, has a pink and white flower, but is an invasive weed. A bit more description would be helpful.

I notice it spreading more and more every year along some rivers. The bees certainly like it. I've seen it buzzing with bees.
Another common plant of river corridors that somewhat fits the description is Rosebay Willowherb.
