Mortgage protection packages

    Hi

    We are between 3 different mortgage protection packages.

    The first package is the standard mortgage protection that pays out in the event of death only

    The second package covers illness or death, but not both, whichever occurs first, the insurance will pay off the mortgage. This package is only a few euro more per month and seems good value?

    There is a third package we could get, it's a serious illness cover that pays out directly to you in the event of illness, it is much more expensive per month.

    At the moment we are tempted to opt for the package that covers illness or death, it's not that expensive per month.

    If you can get the critical illness cover cheap, I'd consider that one.
