It does show the kind of sacrifice involved to achieve times usually reserved for the east Africans. Wanders, Moen, Robertson have all made long-term moves to either Kenya or Ethiopia at some stage... showing that it may take more than altitude and training. It takes a total change in lifestyle as well. I'm sure that eyebrows will be raised but anyone following Wanders' trajectory will know this isn't a surprise result. And RAK does produce some super-fast times.

Wanders is only 22 also and nowhere near his peak yet, if he stays injury free it will be interesting to see what he can do in the years ahead.
