We just recently bought an old house and need to get one bedroom renovated. The work includes the below and we have been quoted 2200. Its far more than we expected. But having no experience I'm not sure if it is dear or if our expectations are off.

Supply & fit insulated plasterboard to interior of external walls
Supply & fit standard slabs to internal walls
Supply & fit vent in wall
Replaster ceiling & existing walls
Removal of all associated rubbish & debris included Supply & fit new skirting boards

Its not a very big room (sorry dont know how much in real measurements)
