    Hi

    ModeL : zanussi 6k9 1200rpm

    Error code : E21.

Anyone know what the problem could be please ? Google leads me to the blocked /dirty filter direction.

I took off the bottom left corner panel, took out the filter ( small ) gave it a clean , improved the cycle but the machine still errors out after a while and Error 21 comes up,

Any other options to solve it myself ? Pretty clueless at these things.
Only connections I can see at the back is the water valve into the machine and the outpipe for the waster water to the drain ?

Thanks for any pointers or help

It is still emptying related, it may be a sticking pump or a blockage in the sump or emptying hoses. if you can determine that there are no blockages then it is down to a dodgy pump

Tilt the washing machine and where the hose is connected to the drum under washing machine. Disconnect using a Philips screwdriver and make sure you have basin catch water. Usually a sock or something small restricting the flow. Remove and you should be ok.

The wash goes as normal but now sticks on rinse with 19 minutes of a normal wash cycle to go. (Tried it with a light load )

The out pipe (soft flexi pipe) from the washing machine to the pipe connecting to the out waste water pipe I have released to see if anything stuck but can’t get my finger /screwdriver into the back of the machine to see if anything stuck. When I release the small casing which holds the pipe firmly into the washing machine no water comes out .
Should I be trying to disconnect this soft pipe completely?
Or remove the back panel of the machine completely?

    Thanks again

Pull washing machine out. Tilt washing machine against the kitchen press.
Go under the washing machine you'll see a large pipe connecting from Drum to front bottom where pressure switch is.
This is the screw lid that sometimes gets a sock or colour catcher gets lodged.
At the bottom of the drum you have a large hose with a jubilee clip. Use a Philips screwdriver and release it make.sure you have a basin catch the water. There is a large ball, (check valve) check for something here is blocking flow and put your fingers inside drum where hose was removed. This a common area for something to restrict flow and cause error 21. Make sure washing machine is unplugged before you do this.

Thanks again, is the the screw I am looking to release ?
Tried it with a few screwdrivers this morning , can’t budge it at all .
What size screwdriver is the best man for this?
Apologies for all the questions , clueless about these things but getting better !

if the screwdriver you used wasn't man enough you need a bigger one or an 8 or 10mm socket and ratchet to remove it, before you undo it remove the hose end from the pump body as the blockage might have moved down that far, I think I read where you have removed the waste hose, to check it thoroughly that hose needs to be removed stood upright and drop something like a big nail/small punch down inside it should come out the other end unrestricted

Update : A rogue sock was causing the blockage and no draining from the machine.

Enlisted the brother in law who had the tools to shift the stubborn screw.

Back in action and all working again.

Thanks for all the help and pointers ! Appreciate it .
