Zulily - customs fees

Anyone bought from zulily before? In the FAQ they say that product prices include Irish VAT but when I went to the checkout this came up. 'You are purchasing from zulily UK Limited, Registered and domiciled in the United Kingdom. By ordering goods from zulily, I hereby authorize a customs broker chosen by zulily to act as my agent, to transact business with the relevant customs authorities to clear my merchandise and account for applicable duties and taxes (including VAT, if any) in my name and on my behalf.'

Has anyone used them before and can confirm that I won't be stung for customs fees please?

That really doesn't sound like a company you want to buy from. Also, read the reviews here

This site is more like a pigsback type site.
You buy and sometimes the items is shipped from China etc. That's when a customs issue could arise.

Just try a reverse image search, usually their deals are available somewhere else.
