Just wondering if it is standard practice for secondary schools to get reports for incoming first year students or is it only in cases where the child has had an assessment by NEPS for example.
    Many thanks

Our school fill in a type of Primary/ Secondary transfer form. Basic information like standardised Maths and English scores would be listed on it as well as the existence of Psychological reports if such information is relevant. Schools need the parents' permission in order to pass on such professional reports to secondary schools.

Yes, but only once the child has been confirmed as registered in the new school . Outside agency reports are the responsibility of the parent .

Generally this is also discussed over phone between the primary and secondary school too.

Information can't be given " over the phone!"
