Eir mobile - turning off Voicemail

    Hi,
I'd like to turn the voicemail off for my Eir mobile phone.  I never set it up - it appeared spontaneously after going onto bill pay from pre-pay

I've tried the 002 code mentioned in a previous thread but this application is not recognised by the phone.  The voicemail number wants me to record my name but I'm not doing that because I don't want voicemail anyway.  I get notifications that a voicemail has been left but can't access it because I haven't set up my voicemail so if this is the case why are callers able to leave a message?

I also want to cancel my bill pay subscription - 2 months in and it's already a nightmare.

    Thanks,
    Fleabag

    Hi Fleabag,

I can remove voicemail from your account. I will need you to confirm the following details?
    1. Registered Name
    2. Registered Address
    3. Account number
    4. DOB
    5. Are you the Account Holder?

In regard to the cancellation, I would be unable to process that here. You can find details on how to cancel here
