    I see some Everton fans saying they want Man city to win tonight. One season ticket holder even said he can't bear to go because he'd be supporting Man city. It's never entered my head to think like that but I'm not as emotionally attached to a team as some are.

    Same thing happened with Everton in 2014. They played City at Goodison with 3 games left in the season. Liverpool were top but had lost to Chelsea and needed their neighbours to do them a favour. I remember the same 'fans' online hoping for a loss.

    What makes it even more pathetic is that Everton had a shot at the top 4 that year.

    It's a great old club, with a great Irish Catholic history to it, but they have some seriously bitter supporters.
