i can't say i've ever warmed to tillmans, but maybe that's more reason to go as i've not seen his stuff on display like this before.

I'm kinda 50/50 about his exhibitions. I'm drawn to him mostly for the abstracts and by his adaptive nature, trying his hand at all the media (painting, photography, video, music etc, etc..) but at the same time having such a divergent amount of material on display leaves no unifying theme and ultimately disappointing. Too much stuff leads to a lack of cohesion.
It's weird, I WANT to like him more than I actually do.

    I'm older than Minecraft goats.

I don't really like his stuff but will head along. I've seen his stuff in London and Arles before but if it's only down the road I should make the effort!
