Recommend lights for converted attic

Just finishing off the attic refurb but I don't want to go drilling holes into the new insulated plasterboard for recessed lights and creating an escape route for heat. Are there any lights that are surface mounted but flush fitting as the head height is only 2 meters in the apex and I don't want to be ducking every time I walk down the centre of the room.

    thanks
