Heating won't turn off

    hello everyone,

I have a problem with my central heating.

I have a gas boiler downstairs and and a hot press upstairs

Downstairs, it used to have 2 timers, one controlling the hot water the other the heating, every time i tried to use those timers, on the schedule mode, it always stayed on no matter what, an engineer came a few months ago to service the boiler, he said everything was fine. When i told him the heating never turns off, we have to switch the button off on the wall to stop the boiler he said the timers aren't working correctly, they need to be change. So i figured changing for changing i'll get an upgrade, i got hive installed yesterday, i told this engineer about my problem, he said with the hive system, everything will be fine. And it was at 1st then this morning, the heater wouldn't turn off again :(
So obviously it wasn't those timers...

What to you think it could be?
After a bit a research it could be a defective motorized valve ??? i'm not sure what that is... could it be it?

    Thanks for your answers

What brand are your motorized valves? I had similar problem when they were not properly wired.

    Hi, thanks for your reply

    It’s a Mason Power Extra

How can I know if it’s properly wired?
