    Hi Guys

Is it possible to motorise or add remote control to a currently manual velux window? The height where they are makes them impossible to access with ease so I was hoping something could be done to automate them a bit. Don't want to replace the entire velux. We have three of them like this.

If this can be done, anyone know if velux do it themselves or who can do it? South east area.

    thanks
    Frogeye

Yes you can buy electric motors that can be fitted to old velux windows BUT only central pivot windows. They're solar powered so you don't have to go trying to get wires and power to the rooflight. The kits aren't exactly cheap, especially if you need three of them it's going to end up over a grand but will easily fix your problem.
