Hi all, looking for a little revenue advice if anyone could help. I've recently landed a full time job and currently have 2 part time jobs. I have already started my full time job but still have to unregister my other 2 jobs with revenue. The new job is looking for a p45. I haven't done any work this year with one of the part time jobs. My tax credits are also split between 2 jobs. Do I need 2 p45s? Or p46 or something like that I was reading online. I'm gonna ring revenue but they take so long to get through to, I'd love to know off the bat what sort of rigmarol I have to go through here?

    Cheers guys! Greatly appreciated.

You no longer need P45 under new rules from 01/01/19. You will need to manage your credits on your MyAccount with Revenue and your new employer will receive your tax credits. Google PAYE modernisation for infor on the new rules.

    Congratulations on the new job.

The new employer shouldn't be asking you for a P45 though, they no longer exist. The quickest way to get things moving is to ask your new employer what their employers tax registration number is, then go into myAccount and create a new job.

    Revenue guidance here: https://www.revenue.ie/en/online-services/services/paye-services/add-a-job-or-a-pension.aspx

While you're there you should also cease your part time jobs.

You can also use myAccount to assign your 2019 tax credits and cutoff points. In your job profile take a note of the EmpoymentID. It's handy to give your new employer both your PPSN and the EmploymentID of the job that contains your allocated tax credits. That will help their payroll team find the correct RPN for you.

Good luck in the new job.
