    Hello. What would an RGI charge to carry out an examination of a three bed terraced house with a view to obtaining a compliance certificate prior to the installation of a new gas meter?
    This is a twenty year old dwelling.

    Do you know if it is essential to have this cert before installation work can commence? I have heard both yes and no.

    Not entirely sure but I presume safety checks of the boiler, pipework etc.
