    Shocked at what they are charging past security in the ho chi Minh airport . 6 dollar beers 11 dollar glasses of wine
    I was drinking bottles of tiger for 75 cent in Hanoi on my a few weeks ago . I wonder are the staff wages bumped up too to reflect this?

    I'd be fairly sure that's a no on the staff wages.
    All airports are ripoffs for passengers. Captive audience.

    You can still buy a bottle of beer in Bangkok for about 120 Baht which is about 3.50 Euro and drink it at the gate waiting on your plane.
    Beers in the bars around the Airport can be got for about 4 Euros.
    OP if you think that is bad, have a beer in Kuala Lumpur airport.
