Happy 50th to Sesame Street! :D:)

Probably the most groundbreaking, innovative and educational children’s television show ever produced, and an important part of my own early childhood at the end of the 1970s/start of the 80s. I loved Sesame Street, especially all the Jim Henson muppet characters like Oscar The Grouch, Cookie Monster, The Count, Ernie and Bert, Big Bird and Snuffelupagus.

What was your own favourite memory of Sesame Street? It was utterly groundbreaking when it first aired in 1969 and its enduring appeal to children worldwide is obvious in its longetevity.
