Sex on Public Transport - Indecent or Brave?

I see two gay men in the UK were convicted of public indecency by having sex on the London Tube in 2017 which was was filmed by a third man and subsequently posted up on a gay porn website.

The act was reported to police by a gay man who saw the footage online.

One of the men was fined £1,000 and order to do 18 months' community service.

Have you ever seen someone engaged in a sex act on public transport? On a bus, train, tram or indeed airplane? (We've all heard of the mile high club but the sub 50 feet club??)

Not particularly outraged as the "shock" value of the video - and the publicity over the conviction - probably adds to its appeal but IMO it does breach the bounds of public decency.

I had 2 lesbian's at it on Christmas Eve back in 2017.

This was on a bus in service and plenty of people on board.

They stripped upstairs at the rear.....

Yeah, it's indecent. Some people get turned on by exhibitionism, but if you do this in a situation in which people who haven't consented to be your audience become your audience,, that's a no-no. It's all about consent, people. You get your jollies by having people see you having it off, go and have it off in the kind of place where people go expecting to see That Kind Of Thing. Don't inflict it on people who haven't chosen to see it.

You can't involve other people in your sex life, even as witnesses, without their consent. This isn't fundamentally different from leaping out from behind a bush, opening your raincoat and waving your tackle at a passer-by.

If they had of jailed them they'd have got all the public sex they ever wanted courtesy of her majesty's pleasure.

Yeah it's indecent for the reasons of consent mentioned above. I'm sure there are ways to organise sex with an audience of people who consent. That's their business and I've no problem with them doing that.

If the audience is a part of the appeal to the people having sex then that audience has to consent or else the problem is obvious.

PS. It might be brave to have sex in public but lots of legal and illegal acts require bravery. That's neither here not there.

Exactly, nothing worse then being on a crowded DART or bus with a couple kissing, and that's just kissing ffs!!
I can't imagine what it must be like to witness riding when not wanting to.


There are "dogging" places for people that like to be watched and people that want to watch.
Never got it though, why would you want to park your car in some dinghy carpark while some fat taxi driver in an UMBRO tracksuit leaves your car bonnet looking like a plasterers radio.

Tbh I wouldn't care a bit.. Straight or gay if I don't like what I'm seeing I'll look at something else.

I don't particularly like couples (straight or gay) making out, but we all have needs and desires. Just because others needs and desires are different to mine is no reason for me to be offended.

I get off on the thrill of possibly getting caught, of doing something inappropriate in public, but I wouldn't ride someone on public transport unless it was empty or the people were far enough away not to notice. Dogging wouldn't do it for me because I don't actually want people staring. It's actually the thrill of possibly getting caught that does it for me, rather than actually getting caught so I prefer outside but isolated.
