What's the going rate per hectare for letting out land (mountain grazing for sheep)?

There is a lot of factors.
    1. Amount of land.
    2. Quality of land.
3 Access, water, ESB , well fenced etc.
    4. Is there entitlements going with it.
    5. Is there neighboring farmers interested?
    6. Long term or short term lease.

The future looks bright, I see in this week's Nationalist, Coogan auctioneers have let two plots of land 30/40 acres , for €330, and €325 in laois and kilkenny , both 5 year deals.

Lol, he’s some gas man. He failed to mention the 140 acre farm on his door step leased for €150/acre for 15 years.

He also failed to get a bid on lands he had for sale. Asking €15k per acre for 6k max land just because of its postal address

Quick question lads, guy wants to rent land and I give back sfp and disadvantage as hel lose it as I'm maxed out. Who gets the entitlements if a new system in future. He wants 50% of entitlements if new system..,

6 acre field we had rented here the past 10 years went for 84 grand the past month, 5 acres was good ground and a acre of scrub but was wet soapy ground that’s a disaster in a wet year the other 16 acres of rough grazing went for 145k, very little land is sold in the area here but it was bats**t crazy the prices the above plots went for

13 acres with a dilapidated tiny house made 220k and 40 acres (28 grazing, 12 rock/scrub) made 505k in my parish lately in West Cork. Can't rent any grass land for under 240/acre.

Be very careful as new max payment will be 60k. ANC amount is limited on any farm. Set a rental figure and what happens happens. There is a chance that greening will be a flat rate in next round across all farms. Lads are too soft with what they give for lease's money is virtually tax free to owner yet lads are paying through the nose as well

No one knows yet, if you had all your land rented last reform you had no choice of what to do with entitlements you had to get rid, you could however sell to the tenant tax free or the open market subject to CGT, If he's not using them he'll probably lose them....I'd imagine they're going to be harder on landlords this round and rightly so
