stihl saw wont start now

    was using my stihl ts400 consaw there and going fine, left it down and switched off for 5 minutes and when back to start in and no go, not even cranking now and there's plenty of fuel in it

    help please

    What do you mean, "not even cranking"?
    Can you turn the engine over when you pull the starter cord?

    I mean you pull and pull for ages but nothing happens, not even trying to start up, 5 minutes before that it was going fine

    Take out the plug and either dry it ( if it's wet) or put in a different one.
    Leave the end of the plug against a metal part of the saw, and pull the starter rope, with the "stop" button in the "run" position.
    If the plug does not spark, either the stop switch, the plug, or the plug lead is faulty or the coil pack is dead.

    Had a problem with a Stihl strimmer years ago, turned out one of the pipes going through that rubber grommet into the tank was splitting apart.
    Nicked some windscreen washer tubing off the rear of the jeep and stayed going :o
    Might be worth trying.
