Online Planning Register - Local Authority Obligations

Does anyone know what Local Authorities obligations are in relation to uploading planning application document onto their planning website for new planning applications? I deal with a number of different planning authorities and most of them are good at making the information available on their website soon after the application is validated. One local authority in particular is extremely bad when it comes to uploading the basic information such as plans etc which is very frustrating.

    Thanks

    Niamh

Not a Consumer Issue, moves instead to the Construction & Planning forum

There is only an obligation to upload any planning application where an Environmental Impact Assessment Report is part of the application. If not, then it is up to the Council to decide the extent of documents/information uploaded. Naturally ALL documents are available over the counter at the office of the coco.
This was amended recently where they "may" upload without EIA and "shall" upload where there is an EIA.
