Damp ceiling under shower

Hi, noticed over the last few weeks a patch has started to appear under the shower of our en-suite, in the hallway downstairs. Its not dripping or anything, but patches are starting to get a black mold.

I was hoping to go over the tray of the shower with more sealer inside, and outside where it meets the tiles, and dry out the damp patch with a dehumidifier and fan heater. and see if it stays dry..

Would this be ok if it works or does it have to be ripped out to check for more damage?

No point going over the existing silicone.
You need to remove all the silicone completely and reseal with tec7 or similar once the area is 100% dry.
You also need to check the grouting for any deterioration and tap the tiles for hollow sounds.
