Training schedule

Up until now I had a coach who has his own software for scheduling trainings. For various reasons, mostly the fact I'll have to downsize my training for this year in particular, I won't be using his services, but still plan to do a marathon and probably a Half Ironman to keep myself "in shape" for next year and while I won't be really consistent I do want to put some structure in my trainings (and I'm too used to it at this point probably).

I created Training Peaks account and was a bit surprised one needs Premium account for scheduling trainings in calendar mode (a bit strange as this seems like a very basic thing which you could do in likes of google calendar, but it's their software so they can charge whatever they feel ok with) and before I do purchase that one (not seeing any other alternative), I wanted to ask if anybody is using anything other than Training Peaks?

I presume there are few that use simple Google or even paper calendar, but are there any other (decent) scheduling apps out there? Maybe something specific for triathlon or even running only?

    https://finalsurge.com/

It's free, syncs with 3rd party apps like Strava/ Garmin connect, and various calendar apps for scheduling.
