    Curfew
Game of Thrones star Sean Bean and Roots star Malachi Kirby are among the big names attached to Sky’s Fast and the Furious-style drama Curfew as the British broadcaster continues to drip out programming announcements.

The eight-part drama, which follows the story of ordinary people competing in the world’s fastest, most furious, illegal night-time street race, is produced by Tiger Aspect Productions and Moonage Picturs, the indie set up by Peaky Blinders execs Will Gould, Matthew Read and Frith Tiplady.

The series, which was written by Read, will see contestants race through the night from London to Scotland in their “pimped-out” vehicles to win the ultimate prize — freedom from the totalitarian government curfew that controls their lives.

Adrian Lester (Riviera), Phoebe Fox (Blue Iguana) Robert Glenister (Spooks), Aimee-Ffion Edwards (Troy: Fall of a City), Rose Williams (Reign), Elijah Rowen (Vikings) and Guz Khan (Man Like Mobeen) also star in the series, directed by Peaky Blinders’ Colm McCarthy.

Commissioned by Sky’s Head of Drama Anne Mensah, the series will air on Sky One and will be exec produced by Gould and Tiplady. Sky Vision will distribute internationally.

So sorta like a dystopian version of drive?

...No video in the article and it airs in 3 weeks? Anyone seen any ads for it?

    So it's death race then?

This starts on Friday. I've started hearing ads on the radio now.

I think the burning question everyone wants to know - will Sean Bean survive the season? :D

    So many flash backs.

Good so far, but sooooo many flash backs!

Watched the 2nd episode last night. It's a bit slow but I like it so far. Hubbie is not too sure yet

So does everyone listen to Tiffany these days, with this and Umbrella Academy?

Watched the first two episodes. Decent enough.

Should we start taking bets on which episode Sean Bean will die in? ;)

Well that wasn't what I expected, all kinds of weird.
Very slow and boring - could do without the zombies. Like they added them to try and make it more exciting but failed.

Didn't recognise Micahel Biehn until someone pointed him out. Though think Aliens and Terminator are all I really know him from

Find the crowd in the ambulance dull. Still the rest of the contestants are entertaining. Curious as to how it goes once they are out of London.

Enjoying this. How have ratings fared?

I did not expect that accent.

Well I guess we're going to see a few more character deaths at this rate.

With all the alliances they're making along the way, why not all just hop into the ambulance or bus when they get near the finish line?

Fairly cack penultimate episode, although the last sixty or so seconds was unexpected. Curious as to who the chap on the motorbike.
will be annoyed if it turns out to be Seth from the OC

I really enjoyed the show, but I know absolutely know one who watched it so I really do not expect a second season. I also do not get why the pregnant girl went from being a posh baby sitter to sleeping with Sean Bean and turning into a typical British Thug Female. Would still smash though.

I guess having the kids you're looking after all die and the mother killing herself in front of you as a result messes you up. Same for him.
