Choosing Medicine in university

    Hi all,

I'm currently doing the LC and I'm considering medicine, but I'm not entirely certain.

What is the workload like? Do medicine students have a good study-life balance? I've heard horror stories about med students supposedly not leaving the library for the entire year and not having time for any other activities...I'm fine with studying and I absorb information quickly, but I also want to have a social life and be active, take part in societies, etc. This is the main thing putting me off.
