Hi, I.got the climote installed today and according to the Climote webpage it should be just timer replacement but I got thermostat as well for the unit. There are only 3 periods during the day I can set up to have this on and this will be temperature controlled (by thermostat).
Is there a way to change it to timer only mode (as advertised on Climote.ie) and to have unlimited periods of on/off without thermostat during the day?
E.g. Id like to be able to set heating on 15 min and off for 1 hour and then again 15 min and so on for the whole day....
    Thanks,
    A

    Hi there,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

For technical questions related to the Climote, we recommend calling our colleagues in the dedicated Electric Ireland Home Services department, as they would be in the best position to answer any queries you may have. They can be called on 1850 372 333, from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Alternatively, we recommend contacting Climote directly. Their contact information can be found online here.

This is a disappointing answer..... as is the lack of general information on the workings of the climote... I would expect that either Electric Ireland or the Climote company would use these questions to put together a more comprehensive question & answer page in relation to the product and how it works....

    Hi rexton05,

Our Social Media channels are the online equivalent of the general Customer Service team - there is a dedicated specialist team for Home Energy Services queries, and they are the department to put queries to regarding Climote.

Here is the information about Climote on the Electric Ireland Shop website also.

    Kind regards,
    Una

Ive a climote and as far as im aware, its limited
To the 3 periods. Ive never had an issue with that.
Obviously you can take the thermostat out of the loop by just setting the temp high and go with the time control but id suggest setting a comfortable temp via the thermostat and using the timer to do 3 large blocks of heat.
Have you got zoning on your heating system?

How do you set temp on climate? I don't seem to have this option

It just fires boiler to heat zones...would I have an older version?

I have it about 18 months

The unit itself has built thermostat plus you can buy a wireless thermostat for other location.

Press the big dial, then - view menu then - Temperature.

Do you have room temperature shown in botton left of screen?
Do you have temperature shown in middle of circular clock on screen?

    Strange.
    Mine is older than yours.
Maybe it can be switched on in installer menu.
