Lost motor tax disc

I need a replacement motor tax disc and I have filled the form and stamped by the garda but can't go to motor tax office due to work. Do I have to go to motor tax office in person or is there way to post the form and pay 6 euro via post ? Documentation just says forward the form and fee it but doesn't say how to pay 6 euro…

You have to go to the motor tax office afaik. That is where you pay the 6 euro.

From their own website, there is an email you can contact them on regarding lost tax discs. Maybe they could help you without having to call in

For any other queries about delivery of your disc, please email motortax@dttas.ie, including your vehicle registration number
