Leaking Tap

    Hi All,

I'm having an issue with the cold tap in the kitchen continually leaking - water leaking is cold and I have hot water coming from the warm tap so guessing it is the cold tap that is leaking. So it appears the cold side of the tap is older than the warm tap - may have been replaced and the cold tap looks to be in bad condition. I've checked the washer and it appears ok. Previously I took the cold side apart and put it back together tightening it and the leak stopped for a day or two but it is back again. Am I right to say the issue is with the cold tap? When I opened it again last night and popped the cold tap back on I cannot turn it on/off when the tap is back on - I think the threads are totally gone.
Is it straightforward enough to pop a new cold tap on or should I replace the entire unit?

    Thanks guys
