As the title says I'm looking for an SPF30 moisturizer. I bought a SPF15 one, but now I'm after reading that it's not really enough protection.

Any recommendations? Preferably one that won't break the bank.

    Thanks

I use a Simple one with SPF 30 and I love it. Stock up when it's on 3 for 2

Hmm, they're currently on offer now for 3 for 2. Does it make your skin white/pale like regular suncream?

Nope it's just like a moisturizer

I have to say I love the Image one. Not like suncream at all but still offers 30 SPF.

Unfortunately none of these have a UVA star rating. This is the one that causes premature ageing.

Was just reading this site here https://irishskin.ie/hit-miss-approach-sunscreen-increases-risks-uv-exposure/

"The EU recommends that the UVA protection offered in a sunscreen should be at least one third of the SPF. Sunscreen products meeting this requirement are eligible to display a UVA logo, with the letters UVA enclosed within a circle."

    Also from the BBC: https://www.bbc.com/news/health-33272420

"many consumers do not realise the SPF rating applies only to the amount of protection offered against UVB rays, not UVA rays - both of which can damage the skin and cause skin cancer."

I've emailed simple to ask about the UVA rating. Might do the same with the others.

Same as the others - doesn't have a UVA rating. It might say UVA protection but it doesn't have the stars or the word UVA in a circle, which means it offers feck all protection. And this is the one that causes wrinkles and ageing.

To see what I'm talking about, this one has a UVA rating: https://www.boots.ie/soltan-protect-and-moisturise-face-spf30-50ml-10245690

    So gonna try that one.
