There are plenty of g pump repair companies in Dublin. They call to you or you can br your pump to them. Repaird in 30 minutes or less. They also sell recommended pumps if yours is not worth repairing.
They are easy to find with a google search

One more quick question got quote 250 to get a part to fix the existing pump or 500 - 800 for a new one ,
Would them prices seem about right ?

Are they straight forward to disconnect and connect yourself ?

What monsoon have you got? How many bar? positive or negative head? If you don't know maybe a photo of the pump & the plate on the pump with the pump details

    Moonsoon 1.5 twin bar

500-800 seems very expensive, but if you have/need a negative head they can be more expensive.

I got a 3bar Stuart turner (2 valve) for £250 up north, but the lads down here wont touch it for warranty if it came from the UK so you are on your own if it breaks (which has happened to you anyway, so no real loss imo)

    Moonsoon 1.5 twin bar

    https://www.ie.screwfix.com/stuart-turner-44423-positive-head-2bar.html

Technically these are UK pumps coming from Screwfix. Stuart Turner say they will honor the 5 year warranty so long as they aren't modified. The flexis are UK size & most plumbers will swap them for Irish size. Believe it or not this is modifying the pump & voids the warranty. If you leave the UK flexis on & get the plumber to fit a UK to Irish fitting this doesn't void the warranty. This information comes courtesy of Kflyer who took the time out to contact Stuart Turner UK & the agents here in Ireland

Now you need to get a price from your plumber for the few fittings & labor.
