    Funny that.
    I thought all on air people who left RTE early with a deal had to sign a declaration of some sort that they would not work on-air for an Irish competitor for 10 years or so.
    I understand he left on some sort of a voluntary redundancy deal, so that's curious. Jon Williams must have been very glad to help him out the door.
    Hope it works out for him on WLR because it ain't like RTE. If he doesn't bring in the listeners in the numbers required, Dessie Whelan will have no problem moving him on.

    Its not just WLR..Any station that has a presenter that doesn't get the listeners/numbers, will do the very same as Dessie..Thats the way radio is now..
