Freediving/snorkel in Cork

HI All, is there any places/courses in Cork for free-diving? I know there is a few places in Kinsale who do snorkel trips but i would be interested to learn it more in depth and eventually do it on my own rather than paying for trips (if that makes sense). Thanks !
