New home security system

About to move into new house and previous owner never installed an alarm system. All the windows and doors already have wires hanging off them ready for sensors to installed. House is approx. 3,000 sq feet and already has electric gates installed. Could anyone advise on what system to go with?

Shop around and get a few quotes. Most people now go for either monitoring or self monitoring via apps on their smartphone. Most systems offer free options for this but some charge. Check out the sticky for more information on this.
Our most popular systems at the moment would be Siemens Vanderbilt and GSD.
