Upgrade from Onkyo 674

Hi, I am considering upgrading my Onkyo 674 AV receiver. I have a Kef 2005.1 speaker setup using a monitor audio bronze for the center channel.
I have a Sony 65x93 and I use the Netflix app on that and optical out for sound. Same for Sky.
I also have a Blu Ray player which I plan to upgrade to a UHD player in the future when prices are a little better, though I don’t use it much anyway.

I know the Onkyo was mid range in its day and was about €800. I could not afford to spend that now.

What would you recommend? Could I upgrade to better sound in 2019 for less than I paid in 2007? I don’t need that much in the way of features. I just would like the best sound I can possibly afford.

    Thanks in advance.
