Doorbell - Wired or Wireless

    Hi all,

Have no wired doorbell - despite requesting it multiple times from our electrician when we renovated the entire house (a full rewire). Have a crappy wireless one in at the moment.

I'm getting a new door (composite) put in in the next 2 months so now is the time to put in a wired, I think

    i) Are wired better than wireless?
ii) Is this a big job - I know it needs a power source and a transformer?

    Thanks all.

    Yes.

Depends on how easy it is to route cables.
The fact that you are replacing the door should help with this.
